This has a similar structure like the Multi-table Sit&Go tournament with the only point of difference being that there is no limit to the number of players that can play in this tournament. Players are seated alevel the tables randomly. The regular tournaments usually take place every day and the scheduled time is announced in the lobby. The registration for participating in the tournament can be done earlier and it closes shortly before the beginning of the tournament. If the tables are not filled, then some of them consist of fewer players (preferably 4). Players advancement to next round will be done on the basis of maximum number of chips player earned in that round and the number of players advancing to next round will be displayed on the Game Table during game play.Payouts to the players are given on the basis of payout structure displayed on the tournament lobby of the application.
Single Table Sit&Gos: Start as soon as the required number of players takes a seat.
Multi-table Sit&Gos: Start as soon as the required number of players is registered. Players will be randomly seated.
Multi-table tournaments: Start at predetermined times. Players will be randomly seated.
Players will be allowed to unregister from a multi-table or sit&go tournament provided that registration has not closed.
A satellite is a smaller tournament in which the prize is an entry into a larger tournament. Satellites are inexpensive to enter compared with multi-table tournaments. While a multi-table tournament may carry a $200 buy-in, one can buy into a satellite for $20 and win a $200 seat in the multi-table tournament. Multi-table satellites are scheduled as regular tournaments, and the sign-up details and play are identical.
An example of how a satellite would work: The buy in for the larger tournament is $200+$20. The buy in for the satellite is $20+$2. If there are 10 entrants (into the satellite), first place will get an entry to the larger tournament. If there are 20 entrants then 1st and 2nd place will receive entry to the larger tournament. If there are 23 entrants, 1st and 2nd place will get entries to the larger tournament and 3rd place will get a $60 prize.
If there is a cost to enter either a tournament or satellite, it will be denoted by stating the buy-in amount and the entry fee. A cost of "30+3" indicates that the buy-in is $30, and the entry fee is $3. The $30 goes to the prize pool which the players compete for, while the $3 entry fee is taken as compensation for hosting the tournament.
There is another type of tournament, a "freeroll", in which entry is completely free. There is no buy-in and no entry fee, but there are cash prizes available to win.
Single table Sit&Gos: If a tournament is cancelled for technical reasons, any player who was eliminated prior to cancellation will lose his or her buy-in. The remaining players will be refunded their buy-ins and will equally divide the buy-in's from the players already eliminated, regardless of their chip count when the tournament was cancelled.
Multi-table Sit&Gos and Tournaments: If a tournament is cancelled for technical reasons, the following refund policy will take effect:
- Eliminated players at the time of cancellation will not be refunded their buy-in or entry fee
- Players still in the tournament at time of cancellation will be refunded:
- Prize money equal to the amount that would have been awarded to the next player eliminated from the tournament will be awarded to all the players still in the tournament at the time of cancellation. Of the remaining prize pool, 50% will be distributed equally between all players still in the tournament at the time of cancellation, and 50% will be distributed on a percentage basis at the time of cancellation (based on each player's chip count).
Play money tournaments: Any play money tournament that is cancelled for any reason will be considered to be 'not played'. This includes play money tournaments with real money prize pools. Prize pools for these tournaments will not be redistributed, and no compensation will be awarded to players still remaining in the tournament at the time of cancellation.
Note :- We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule tournaments at any time, for any reason, with or without notice. We reserve the right to amend our blackjack tournament rules and policies at any time without notice. Such amendments will become effective immediately upon being listed in the 'Tournament Rules' section of the website. It is the player's sole responsibility to review the tournament rules and policies before entering a tournament.
