2. What are the different Payment Plans and how do they differ?

As an Affiliate, you can select how you want to get paid. We have two different plans and here is how they differ:

a) Per Sign Up Plan means you will get paid a guaranteed amount for every Player that opens an Account and makes a real money deposit to their Account.
b) Gross Revenue percentage share means you will get paid a commission on what the house makes from your Players based on their contribution to Monthly Gross Revenue, for the life of their Account, i.e., the bigger your Players, the bigger your check.

3. How is Gross Revenue calculated?

Gross Revenue is calculated as the sum total of all Players' contribution to all "rakes" the Players were involved while playing at the Site, less any credits, bonus or promotional amounts given to Players, chargeback’s or any uncollectible revenue attributable to the Player. For more details, see the Affiliate Agreement.

4. When do I receive my money and what payment options do I have?

Cash out options include NeTeller, iGM Pay, Check by Fed-Ex, Check by regular Mail. You can also transfer funds from your affiliate account into your Poker account.

5. How do I know how many Players have signed up or how much money I am making?

Easy, our state of the art marketing system, allows you to login anytime, from anywhere, and check your statistics. You can run the reports tracker by tracker, or in summary, on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. See how your Sub-Affiliates are doing too. The reports are updated once everyday. To access your stats, go to Affiliate Login, login using your Affiliate ID and Password Then click on “Check Stats”.

7. What is a Tracking URL?

A Tracking URL is used for online promotions. It looks like this and you link your banners or text links through it. Each Tracking URL is unique so when a Player enters the site through one of your Trackers, we credit that Player to your marketing account. When using a Tracking URL, there is no need for the Player to also enter a Sign Up Bonus Code because we automatically know it came from you.

8. What is a Sign Up Bonus Code?

A Sign Up Bonus Code is 3 to 12 digit code that you select in the system. You can have one code or many. It can be numbers and/or letters and look something like "RealityPoker". Each code is unique and is assigned to a particular Affiliate; hence, when a Player signs up using one of your Sign Up Bonus Codes, we know to credit you for that Player. The Bonus Code is NOT case sensitive. For example, a Bonus Code such as ‘POKER’ is valid either ways, ‘POKER’ or ‘poker’

9. Do I need to offer Players a bonus incentive to encourage them to sign up?

We strongly recommend that you use a special promotional offer in your marketing efforts to encourage Players when signing up. This would significantly improve your conversion ratios (Play Money to Real Money Player)

10. What types of bonus offers can I use in my marketing materials to encourage Players to open an Account and make their first deposit using my Sign Up Bonus Code or Tracking URL?

Each time you activate a Sign Up Bonus Code or Tracking URL, you can select what type of bonus offer you want associated with it, or none.
There are 3 types of Bonus offers that you can choose from:

  • A 20% up to $100 first deposit Bonus
  • A $25 Bonus
  • A free entry to the RealityPoker.com Million tournament

Please note that bonus amounts given to Players are deducted in the calculation of Gross Revenue, and all Bonus Amounts are subject to Release Requirements that must be met before any Player can play with or cash out the Bonus Amount so as to prevent abuse. These restrictions or requirements are contained in the offer itself and/or on a supplementary disclaimer page. See our Standard Promotional Offer Terms & Conditions for more information on Release Requirements.

11. Where do Players enter Sign Up Bonus Codes?

Players enter their Sign Up Bonus Code on the Open Account screen, which is the same screen where they first select their Account Name and Password to the site. Once entered, the system will automatically record the code to give the Player the Bonus Amount if any, when they make their first real money deposit to their Account. Please note that if you are promoting offline using a signup Bonus code and if players do not enter your code, they will not be tracked to you.

12. What is a Deposit Bonus Code and
how is it different from a Sign Up Bonus Code?

A Sign Up Bonus Code is to encourage Players to sign up and make their initial deposit, whereas a Deposit Bonus Code is to encourage Players to make additional deposits. Unlike Sign Up Bonus Codes, the Deposit Codes are entered on the Deposit Screens, not the Account Open Screen. Generally Deposit Bonus Codes are only used internally by RealityPoker.com to mail to existing Players to stimulate deposits and increase actions at the tables.

19. I do not own a web site, but I like playing at RealityPoker. Can I also become an affiliate ?

Of course you can. You can promote the site through word-of-mouth and track your players through the Bonus Codes you distribute. As an affiliate who is also a player, you can use several of our features to your advantage :

a. QuickCash: As a player at RealityPoker, you can transfer funds to their account and take cash for them in exchange, ensuring that they get credit immediately and can start playing from Day One!

b. Private Tables: Some poker players are uncomfortable playing with people they do not know at the beginning. You can help them get out of their fears by setting up a private table which is access restricted (by a password) to players in your circle. This will ensure that they can start playing with people they know, and whenever they are comfortable, start playing at other tables.

c. Buddy list: You also have the option of setting up your players on a buddy list, and inviting them to a weekly game, thus ensuring that they stay in touch with you and you know how they are playing, and of course, that they keep contributing to your revenue.

d. Support: We can support you with merchandise, and information that will help you manage your program better.

Please note that the Tell-A-Friend program is NOT the same as the affiliate program. Make sure that you create a bonus code, and that your players use them.
